Basic obedience and behavior Solutions

Is your precious pup anything but when company comes over? Does he pull like a freight train when you just want to have a nice leisurely neighborhood stroll? Does she steal from the trash or the table?

We can help! We’ll work through those issues by teaching you and your dog some of the basic building blocks of relationship, and through that, basic obedience too!

Some examples of behaviors we’ll work on in a basic obedience program include: sit, down, stay, heel (loose leash walking), and place (stay on your bed)

Learning doesn’t have to stop at the basics!

We offer a variety of programs to teach you and your pup all the “FUN” stuff too!

TRICKS!

From a simple high-five to a fun retrieve, we would love to help you expand your dog’s repertoire so that you can amaze your family and friends at the next big backyard cookout or holiday gathering!

Some examples of tricks we work on include: spin (left and right), jump through a hoop, jump over a bar, speak/bark, back up, front feet on an object, and many, MANY more!

(We often work in conjunction with our friends at Snorkle’s Way Adaptive Dog Training in Walkersville, MD. Check them out!)

CONFIDENCE BUILDING though BACKYARD

“FUN-GILITY”

Agility doesn’t have to be all about competition and GO GO GO! We use a combination of agility and environmental obstacles to help you teach your dog that the world isn’t such a scary place after all!

Rally Obedience

You’ve done Basic Obedience, Tricks, and you have a confident dog. Now what?

Rally Obedience is a super fun entry into the dog sport world. It is similar to Competitive Obedience in that the difficulty level of the skills required rises with each new level. But, instead of being instructed by the judge, you will follow a course of signs that will tell you which skills to perform at each station.

See the videos below for examples of both Rally Obedience (first row) and Competition Obedience (second row). If it looks like something you’d like to try, we can set out on that journey together!
