My Pack

Boomer

Boomer is the namesake of the business. He joined our family for life’s adventures in 2010 while I was attending college. Taffy was already on the scene, but Boomer really ran away with my heart. Always up for anything, he proved to be a constant companion through the years. He was my first competition obedience dog. Rocking his way through Rally Obedience and AKC Competitive Obedience, he earned Rally Level 1, 2, and 3 titles as well as AKC Novice and Open level with just 1 non-qualifying score and nearly always in the ribbons (spoiling me for sure)! Since then he has finished a Rally Championship with World Cynosport Rally and a Weight Pull Championship with W3PO. Boomer is semi-retired now and enjoys his job as the “Favorite” around the house (shh, don’t tell the others!)

Taffy

Taffy is the OG pup of the family. I picked her up on my way home from a family vacation without telling anyone my plan (oops!) My dad suggested I name her “Misty” (short for “mistake” of course) but saltwater taffy is a better namesake so we went with that instead!

Taffy was my very first “own” dog. I got her to take to college with me my Junior year. She grew up hanging out on the campus farm and sometimes even coming to class! We have made many memories over the years I’ve been lucky enough to share my life with her. She has never met anyone but a friend, 2 or 4 legged. She is essential to socializing puppies, foster dogs, and training dogs alike. Taffy is one of those one-in-a-lifetime dogs. She may not hold any titles or win any ribbons, but she is essential to our harmony.

FLirt

The newest addition to the Pack, Flirt is also the youngest. Flirt was adopted from Operation Paws for Homes in 2016 and was originally intended to be trained as a service dog. But I quickly knew that I could never let her leave me! Flirt is a smart, sassy girl who loves to learn new tricks and play frisbee.

She and I will compete in Obedience, Rally, Frisbee, Tricks and anything else we can get into! I look forward to many years of adventures with this girl.

Kiba

Kiba is a husky mix, also adopted from Operation Paws for Homes in 2011. While not a competition dog, Kiba is an excellent house buddy and LOVES our nieces and nephews. She is friendly to everyone she meets and often helps socialize new dogs or fosters who come through

Kratos is an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. We adopted him in 2012 from a friend. He has competed in Obedience, Rally, and Weight Pull and holds several titles and a Weight Pull Championship.

Kratos is slow to make 4-legged friends and doesn’t often have the chance but he has never met a human he didn’t adore!

Yoshi was adopted from Operation Paws for Homes in 2014. She arrived as a foster and it soon became clear that this special girl was never leaving! Yoshi had some hard times in the beginning of her life and as a result can be shy and unsure of things! But that didn’t stop her from earning an AKC Beginner Novice title!

Yoshi is the absolute best cuddle buddy and, given the option, she will lay around with you all day!
